The COURSE REGISTER is published once a year in the Spring, prior to Fall Advance Registration. The publication is a register of all courses that may be offered in the next academic year.

The Course Register process begins in the Fall with the distribution of the COURSE INVENTORY FILE WORKSHEETS to departments. These are used to review and update the Course Inventory. The Distribution Requirement, Term Offered and Subgroup Classification fields on the Inventory are used in the production of the COURSE REGISTER (see Course Inventory for descriptions of these fields).

Next, the COURSE REGISTER AUDIT REPORTS are distributed via the INFODESK. All information on the 1D1, 1D2, 1D3, 1D4 screen is printed and any errors or changes can then be updated directly on the screen.

All additions and updates to the Inventory and Register should be done by the Schools and/or Departments directly on-line.

Finally, the departments then receives a galley of the Course Register as it will appear in print. At this time FINAL changes and/or additions should be made.
